Muslima: Muslim Women’s Art & VoicesMuslima: Muslim Women’s Art & Voices is an online exhibition featuring the art, voices, and stories of Muslim women around the globe. It’s a global online exhibition from the International Museum of Women (IMOW).

Muslima presents a groundbreaking collection of thought pieces and artwork from contemporary Muslim women who are defining their own identities and, in the process, shattering pervasive stereotypes.

You can explore work from artists, activists, and thought-leaders around the world, representing a broad spectrum of Muslim realities and identities, addressing such topics as Power, Leadership, Appearance, Myths, Generations, Faith and Connection.

The work and voices presented in Muslima aims to inspire cross-cultural dialogue that will break down myths and stereotypes and build understanding. You can join the “Speak Up! Listen Up!” campaign to support the voices of Muslim women worldwide who are leading the movement for change.

Samina Ali, Muslima Curator: “Muslima is a revolutionary virtual exhibition presenting a wide collection of thought-provoking perspectives and visually arresting artwork from contemporary Muslim women around the world who are speaking to the reality of their lives. They’ve shared their voices and artwork on topics including generations, leadership, power, faith, and much more. In the process, they are defining what it means to be a modern Muslim woman.”
