Artists for Peace and Justice, a non-profit organization that encourages peace and social justice and addresses issues of poverty around the world, tweeted a few days ago about the new Ciné Institute website.
As you may already know, we have been interested in Haitian history and culture for a long time (visit ‘En Route to Haiti‘), so when APJ announced the new Ciné Institute website, we were very curious to see it. And it is great indeed, gorgeous design and engaging content!
About Ciné Institute : ‘We create modern opportunities for Haiti’s youth. Through college training in film production and new audio-visual technologies we foster entrepreneurship and business development in local media industries […] We believe Haiti’s future lies in the hands of its youth. We contribute towards fostering the economic and social revival of the nation by providing young people with access to a college film program and new lasting employment opportunities.’
Ciné Institute provides each student with a full scholarship, made possible through private donations. You can help them continue to reduce poverty through world-class education and professional job creation by supporting their programs.
