Last week we published an article about the One Million Bones initiative: on June 8, one million handmade human bones, created by students, artists, and activists will be laid on the National Mall as a symbolic mass grave and visible petition for bold action towards an end to genocide and mass atrocities. The installation will cover the area between 3rd and 7th streets and remain on the Mall through Monday June 10.
We support this great artistic initiative and we added it to the Campaigns we support. We also have scheduled a new discussion group on this occasion. You can join us tomorrow and discuss about genocide and mass atrocities, and how to help make ending genocide a reality.
An invitation has been sent to our newsletter subscribers, containing all the information regarding this discussion group. We hope that as many of you will join us as at our last discussion on Sudan Emergency Action Summit 2013!
